First of all, thanks so much for being you. Stay that way. And thanks to wandering to this side of my blog to check out how fabulous I am. Carrying on...
✾My name is Ashlee. Hi!
✾I'm 17 years old and I blow out the candles on April 2nd.
✾I'm from Southern California, and it takes me 25 minutes to drive to Disneyland in Anaheim. I've had an annual pass (currently in renewal layover) to Disneyland/DCA my whole life, except for a gap from 2009-2012 (life got complicated and the economy wasn't as giving).
✾I've been on stage my whole life, practically. I play guitar, ukulele, and I sing :) Disney songs are, of course, my favorites to sing.
More about my life as a Disneyholic:
✾I go to Disneyland at least once every 2 weeks.
✾I think I'm a princess.
✾I do some pretty kick ass Disney princess impersonations (especially Snow and Aurora, ask me about it! I might make a video someday.)
✾I grew up enjoying the Disney Renaissance Era.
✾My nostalgia Disney classic is The Hunchback of Notre Dame
✾My favorite princess growing up was Belle, but now I can't decide on just one.
✾My favorite original character is Donald
Do you follow back?Yes! But only if you post Disney. If not, then feel free and follow my personal. I follow everyone over there (I post a lot of Disney there too).
What do you look like?
A Disney Family (also commonly known as an Ohana), simply put, is really just your name under your favorite character on another person's blog. There are really no perks, nor are there any cons to it. All you receive is the satisfaction of being named your favorite Disney character. Ocasionally, people looking for more blogs to follow will go down the list and follow other blogs. Click here to view my Disney family and see which of your favorite characters is available. If they are not listed, they are free! If your favorite character is taken, feel free to go ahead and check if the blog under that character is still up and running. After you've decided who you'd like to be listed as, message me in my ask box and just let me know who you'd like to be!
What is a Disney Family/How do I join your Disney Family?
A Disney look alike is when you sumbit a picture of yourself and you are compared to a Disney character based upon your appearance. You can receive a Disney look alike by Clicking here and following the instructions. Once you've submitted your photo and your look alike is complete, the photo you sent in, along with the picture of the character you resemble most, will be posted on my blog for all to see here. So, if you are not comfortable with others seeing a picture of yourself, just let me know and I would be glad to let you know your results in your ask box instead of posting it.
What is a Disney look alike/How can I get one?
I go to a high school where you are accepted based upon academic achievements, not necessarily your GPA, although it is still a public school. You need at least a 2.0 GPA to attend, and may only attend if you are a sophomore or older (no freshmen, too stressful). There is a community college nearby where we get to walk literally 3 minutes to take any course of your choosing (as long as you fit the requirements/prereqs). Every student at the high school is registered as a college student through the college. We are only allotted a certain number of credits per semester, so you can't overload yourself with work. Basically, it's like being in college, but being 15, 16, 17 years old. The best part is that certain courses at the college count toward high school credit as well. So, if you pass a certain math class at the college, you don't have to take it at the high school, PLUS it goes into your college credits as well (obviously). Basically, by the time I graduate high school in 2014, I will be about 12 credits short of my AA. I'll be able to enter a 4-year University as a "Junior", or just short. Saves my family tons of money and stress. It's a unique opportunity that I've been blessed to have.
How do you go to high school and college at the same time?/You're a liar!
